I am Sigita Alekne, an artist from Vilnius, Lithuania. My paintings are inspired by nature, music, folklore, tales and legends. I love mythology, symbolism and mysticism and even though it does not always directly reflect in my paintings, it has a strong impact on my art in general. All my artworks are done with curiosity and passion.

Without art, the crudeness of reality would make the world unbearable.
